The Ag Operations Manager will lead agricultural operations within your designated growing region. Your primary responsibility will be to be the primary point of contact for our regional grower-owners, advocating for Cooperative policies and maintaining positive grower relations. You will collaborate closely with grower-owners and Ag Operations teams to ensure sustainable and efficient agricultural practices. Additionally, you will collaborate with Logistics teams to deliver quality cranberries to manufacturing plants and protect supply chain cohesion.

A Day in the Life...

Responsible for effective leadership of Ag Operations functions in Quebec and New Brunswick.                                           ​​Act as the primary point of contact for region’s Ocean Spray Grower-Owners​.​​Visible spokesperson and key liaison for Ocean Spray with the independent grower community, grower associations, extension agencies, research stations, etc.​​​Responsible for the efficient, effective operation of Receiving Operations, including supply chain activities associated with both inbound and outbound fruit movement​.                                                    ​​Manage all aspects of Ag Operations by participating in the establishment of objectives, requirements, and planning for the ongoing operation and administration, including seasonal receiving of fruit from a variety of sources, processing and transfer to production facility and/or freezer; and other production functions as required​.                                ​​Responsible for communicating and advocating Cooperative policy and direction, while maintaining positive grower relations​.​​Support projects and other Ag Operations strategic initiatives within the designated region(s).​​Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Grower Code Book and apply code book policy in a fair and equitable manner​.                                                       ​​Conduct evaluation of the area's Ag Operations performance, identify and implement areas of improvement​.​​Responsible for Ag Operations portion of the fiscal Annual Operating Plan for the region.  This includes all relevant A/P documentation, payments and administration of all invoices​.
