**HIH - Agile Technical Coaching Senior Manager** **Position Overview** **Job Title** The HIH Agile Technical Coaching Senior Manager at Cigna Group is someone responsible for partnering with organizational leadership to enable the delivery of value efficiently and effectively to our customers. This role supports Cigna Enterprise Operating Model (EOM) adoption across the enterprise that impacts software development, delivery, security, and quality. Incumbent works with multiple teams and domains to determine their current level of maturity, leads the India-based coaching team to develop plans to improve processes and increase the productivity of the domains and products accordingly. **Job Overview:** Ability to lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team of members responsible for building scalable full-stack applications and data-driven platforms. Champions technical strategies such as DevOps, Resiliency, and modular architecture with stakeholders across various development, operations, and quality teams at various levels of the enterprise. Works with Product and Delivery teams to drive adoption of modern capabilities across the enterprise and change the way Cigna delivers software. Shares adoption strategies and leads best practices with other coaches and engineers. Stays deeply connected with the industry to understand disruption and how that disruption can be focused to meet Cigna’s goals. Drive technical design and architectural decisions across front-end, back-end, and data analytics components. Incorporates Service Virtualization, Test Automation, Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery(CD), Code Quality, Test Driven Infrastructure, Test Data Management (TDM), Change Management (CM), Release Management (RM) tools and processes toward a Continuous Delivery Model to help realize the vision of Release when Ready. Mentors, coaches, and develops architects and engineers across the organization. Works in a highly collaborative environment and facilitates the implementation of tools, scripts, or processes to shift teams toward a higher level of maturity in their technical Agile transformation. The incumbent owns the output of key discipline within function. Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and experience to set departmental goals that align with functional strategy. Focuses on achievement of departmental goals and plays a significant part in achieving functional goals. **Responsibilities:** **Strategic Guidance:** Collaborate with IT and business leaders to catalyze sustainable and impactful change, evaluating and shaping organizational design, structure, and culture **Coaching and Development:** Mentor and upskill team members across the organization, from portfolio to team level, both locally and globally, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement **Organizational Change Management:** Serve as a catalyst for transformational/efficient practices, promoting a culture of adaptability and responsiveness across the organization **Organizational Alignment:** Utilize Cigna's Enterprise Operating Model to develop and refine training, materials, and guidelines, ensuring integration with organizational objectives **Support and Implementation:** Interface with all levels of leadership to support organizational change, including process, practice, and tooling changes. Work with globally distributed teams to implement Lean, Agile, Customer Centricity, and other relevant principles, with a focus on demonstrating the impact of organizational changes **Community Building:** Create a culture of shared best practices, proactively address organizational obstacles, and provide coaching, mentoring, and training at all organizational levels. Accountable for building relationships & having the right conversations **Product Coaching:** Collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish a shared vision and set clear, measurable goals that align with customer needs and business objectives **Technical Mentorship:** Provide leadership and management of teams responsible for software development, Agile coaching, Data Management, Reporting & Analytics Remain hands-on in code reviews, troubleshooting, and developing complex modules as needed **Qualifications:** **Education:** Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field **Experience:** 13+ years of experience **Required Qualification:** **Coaching:** o Scrum o Scaled Agile o SAFe o Kanban o Change Management o Agile Coach o Product Coaching **Engineering –** Proven hands-on experience with: o Backend: Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks) o Frontend: React (with Redux or similar state management), Tableau Interactive Views o Databases: Strong SQL experience (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), and familiarity with NoSQL databases o Analytics: Tableau dashboard development, data wrangling and automation using Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) o Experience with Tableau development, SQL Server management and data analytics. o Solid understanding of software design principles, REST APIs, data modeling, and application performance optimization **Preferred Qualification:** · Experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure · Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes · Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics tools **About Evernorth Health Services** Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
