About the team

Worldpay has a dedicated Payouts team, spanning Product, Strategy, Commercialization and Sales. You will sit within the Product team, collaborating closely with our wider change delivery function and commercial teams.

Working within the Payouts Product team for Worldpay you will operate as a leader of change, acting on behalf of our current and future customers. You will own multiple customer experiences, tasked with innovating on our current capabilities and devising new solutions to emerging opportunities for measurable benefit. You will own delivery end to end supported by dedicated Engineering resource and Operations expertise from across the business.

 

What you will be doing

 

The Product Owner role is pivotal in the way we deliver our products and solutions.  Working within a cross functional delivery sprint team you will be the one responsible for ensuring the team deliver what the business want.  You will interface closely with the business stakeholders, in alignment with the Product Management Group and with the delivery team itself to ensure requirements are understood and features are delivered to the acceptance criteria.

As a member of the Payouts team, you will have the opportunity to work with your peers across the technology organisation, with our industry partners, and our product and business teams directly.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work closely with Product Management and Business Stakeholders to understand, articulate and communicate vision and valueChampion our vision and working principles in your interactions with Business Units across the organisationTake responsibility and ownership of products and services from a delivery perspectiveBe comfortable bridging the gap between technology and the businessWork closely with the business to understand requirements and the business value behind themConduct market analysis to ensure we simplify, innovate and add incremental value through Product EngineeringBacklog creation, ownership and refinementDefinition of acceptance criteriaParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, sprint demos, retrospective and daily stand-upsSet sprint goals and articulate what success looks likeMake decisions and accept changes delivered during sprintUnderstand and define key questions / decisions and identify the research or analysis that supports resolutionParticipate in launch activities leading up to and following product releases, ensuring that appropriate communications are made to key stakeholders

Excellent Product Ownership skills & experience ideally within a payouts product organisationStakeholder management and building good relationshipsStrong leadership skills and the ability to influence with or without authorityExcellent communication skills, able to tailor results into language appropriate for the audienceStrong analytical and problem solving skills with an eye for detailWillingness to learn and adapt with a positive attitude
