Role Title: Agile Product Management Sr Advisor

Position Summary:

The Agile Product Management (APM) Senior Advisor will be responsible for having knowledge of the products and services Cigna Information Protection (CIP) supports for the value streams in which they are aligned.  The primary focus of responsibility will be working with our international partners and stakeholders across the enterprise to enable and deliver attack simulation (pen test) objectives successfully.  As demonstrated competency has been achieved in this area, other expanded opportunities will be given to have a broader impact within the organization.   The APM will work with CIP, Business, and IT customers to understand needs and expectations.  With this understanding, the APM will identify impacts to CIP products and services and decompose the value and requirements into work items across teams.  You will gather scope, deliverables, metrics, key dates and milestones to provide guidance into prioritization and help drive work to completion.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Primary focus is on APAC (Asia Pacific) and international related pen test requirementsIntegral part in ensuring international-based penetration tests get sequenced and completed in a timely manner.  Includes managing team kanban boards to visualize and track work from start to completion.Responsible for intake, triage, and decomposition of work, and assisting with backlog grooming and maintaining a backlogIn collaboration with the Technical Manager, influence decisions around prioritization of the workEngage with customers to understand needs and expectationsParticipate in and lead team and organization planningResponsible for the supporting delivery schedule, roadmap and cross-team communicationResponsible for stakeholder communications including executive communicationsResponsible for developing & executing against Operationalization PlanDelivery tracking, status reporting, metrics, and estimates generationLead the removal of roadblocks for the team, escalating issues to leadership as neededManage and maintain Jira stories, metrics, and queries for the attack simulation teamSupport additional scope of support within other related areas within CIP when and where needed

Competencies / Skills:

Expert proficiency with workflow, collaboration, and documentation management tools (Jira, Rally, Microsoft Office Suite, Webex, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, etc.).  Familiarity with ServiceNow queries a plus.Ability to handle analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions.Ability to effectively operate within a fast pace, dynamic organization.Customer focus, deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into product requirements.Adaptability, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.Ability to deal with organizational politics including the ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively.Stakeholder management (setting and managing expectations)Business acumen including the ability to effectively articulate business objectives.Strong analytical skills, highly focused, team player, versatile, resourcefulPrecise communication skills, including an ability to project clarity and precision in verbal and written communication and strong presentation skills.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsDeep experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Experience Required:

Qualified candidates will typically have 13-16 years of professional IT work experience in a mixed agile/waterfall environment.  A Bachelor’s degree or Agile certifications are a plus.IT security familiarity strongly preferred.
