Agile Coach
Job Description A client is seeking a dynamic and articulate Agile Coach to lead and inspire seven squads in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. This role requires a confident leader who can bridge the gap between agile methodologies and executive expectations, especially in a culture still rooted in waterfall thinking. Key responsibilities include: • Onsite Coaching: Work directly with teams to foster agile practices and collaboration. • Executive Engagement: Connect agile principles with executive-level goals and timelines; help leadership understand and adopt agile ways of working. • Team Enablement: Guide squads through agile ceremonies, scrum of scrums, and SAFe practices; drive alignment and cohesion across teams. • System Building: Help establish templates, workflows, and organizational frameworks to support agile delivery. • Mindset Flexibility: Balance agile coaching with waterfall expectations—“I want this done by this time”—and help teams deliver within hybrid models. Skills and Requirements Proven experience coaching agile teams and executives in in the Insurance Industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to lead from the front and inspire confidence. Deep understanding of SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, and agile delivery across multiple teams. Ability to manage friction and drive collaboration in fast-paced settings. Experience in the insurance industry is preferred. Soft skills are critical—must be dynamic, articulate, and decisive. Experience is valued over years of experience. MUST be comfortable going onsite 3 days week (tues-thurs)
