Aftertreatment Systems Test Hardware Analyst
In this position... The Aftertreatment Systems Team within Ford Vehicle Propulsion Systems Engineering is seeking a test analyst to procure, commission, and maintain powertrain rigs and protype emissions systems to support robust and cost-effective systems to meet future internal combustion engine emissions standards. What you'll do... + Work with exhaust metalwork, catalyst internals, and emissions calibration engineers to define aftertreatment designs to meet future emissions standards. + Interface with protype exhaust fabricators to develop experimental designs. + Procure and component necessary to assemble prototype aftertreatment and powertrain system. + Oversee assembly and commissioning of powertrain and aftertreatment system aligned with test schedule. + Develop and maintain documentation of test rig components. + Onsite support of powertrain and aftertreatment rigs while on test. You'll have... + BS or equivalent work experience. + Good PC computer skillset including sharepoint, MS Excel and MSWord skills. + Good collaboration skillset.
