Aftermarket Business Manager
Eaton’s Aerospace Group, Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division, has an opening for an **Aftermarket Business Manager** (ABM) with site specific responsibility for Titchfield and Bedhampton located in the United Kingdom. This position will be offered as remote - in country or at the Titchfield or Bedhampton UK site. Our site located in Titchfield is undergoing a significant and exciting transformation as we relocate to a newly constructed facility in Daedalus. This state-of-the-art site will serve as the Centre of Excellence for aerospace manufacturing across Europe, marking a new era of innovation and excellence. We pride ourselves as a premier supplier of fully integrated fuel systems for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. We boast extensive fuel and air system test facilities, facilitating comprehensive testing across a range of conditions with various fuel types **What you’ll do:** **PRIMARY FUNCTION:** As a key member of the Fuel and Motion Control (FMC) Division aftermarket organization with assigned site-specific focus, the Aftermarket Business Manager (ABM) is a leadership position that advances the division aftermarket growth strategy and serves FMC sites, as an aerospace aftermarket subject matter expert, with knowledge and direction on all aftermarket business related matters, such as, regulatory and product support agreement requirements and compliance, military and civil customer and market dynamics, MRO operations, and flow down of aerospace group and division strategies and associated initiatives. The ABM has two (2) primary functions aligned to FMC aftermarket growth and customer satisfaction, which includes: 1. Leads and manages key aftermarket strategic programs, such as pillars of the division aftermarket growth strategy and complex customer programs, including the deployment and management of new business opportunities or power by hour agreement execution. The ABM also provides site level support aligned with each division or key customer initiative, as required. 2. Responsibility for improving and sustaining aftermarket customer satisfaction by capturing voice of the customer, analyzing site performance against customer expectations, and driving corrective action plans in collaboration with site leadership when the site is underperforming to customer expectations. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** The successful candidate will be able to do the following: **Aftermarket Strategic Initiatives** - Lead major division strategic initiatives and/or new business deployment and sustainment (Programs). + Defines and articulates program objectives across Group, Division, and site leadership teams. + Champions and/or leads Integrated Program Teams (IPT) across all program phases. + Utilizes Eaton Business Systems and program management tools to create project plans and manage resources for achieving program deliverables. + Directs overall organizational performance on the program, ensuring the “Triple Constraint” of Cost/Scope/Schedule is met, and identifies, secures, and manages necessary resources. + Seeks team input to promote rapid issue resolution; coaches and provides feedback or rewards based on performance indicators. + Monitors and reports overall performance through metrics during all program phases; develops and implements corrective action and recovery plans as needed. + Leads IPT in identifying, quantifying, and mitigating risks using risk identification, assessment, and mitigation methodologies. + Responsible for communicating program status at the appropriate level to relevant stakeholders at Aerospace Group, divisional, and/or site leadership levels. **Additional Information:** **Aftermarket Performance** - Knowledgeable of customer contractual requirements and customer expectations. Flows down requirements to business and drives activities to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. + Acts as a subject matter expert in aftermarket product support agreements and customer contract terms and conditions. + Prioritizes and communicates customer requirements to the business, ensuring responsiveness to customer needs at both division and site levels. + Champions the site Aftermarket Business Operating System reviews, supporting the preparation of review materials and analyzing performance metrics and data to identify issues, assign root causes, and develop corrective action improvement plans. + Monitors voice of customer (VOC) feedback systems, initiates and supports rapid response activities, and facilitates systemic issue resolutions to meet or exceed customer expectations. + Maintains strong engagement with site leadership teams to stay informed on site issues and accelerate improvements, escalating as necessary through defined channels. + Serves as a business escalation point to address major customer issues when site responses are unsatisfactory or when FMC global issues arise; leads site IPTs to create, manage, and monitor customer improvement plans as needed. + Manages the development and reporting of requested OEM aftermarket performance improvement plan reviews. + Promotes and supports deployment of standard aftermarket processes and metrics across the division to realize the benefits of operating as an integrated company. + Leads aftermarket issue resolution with major OEM programs such as Airbus, Safran, and Rolls Royce, coordinating improvements across the FMC division to address program needs, escalations, and issues. + Supports regional customer performance reviews by collecting customer metrics and performance improvement action plans, assisting in communicating plans to customers, and monitoring execution through to customer closure. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration + At least 10 years of experience in Aerospace Program Management, Aftermarket, Engineering, and/or New Product Development **Preferred Qualifications:** + Masters in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution preferred + Prior experience in Aerospace Aftermarket programs + Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) highly preferred + Proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes, and tools + Experience in Risk Management + Broad knowledge of the Aerospace industry and aerospace aftermarket **Skills:** + Strong commitment to Eaton ethics and values + Proven leadership skills with experience leading Integrated Product Teams (IPT) across multiple global sites and managing international customers + Ability to manage multiple projects and activities using Eaton and industry-standard project management tools and processes; results driven + Knowledge of aerospace-related products, regulatory requirements, and MRO processes + Process-oriented with the ability to contribute to continuous improvement + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to deliver status reports and presentations to Eaton and customer senior leadership + Ability to interface at all organizational levels and influence decision making + Strong analytical skills and business acumen + History of managing customer relationships and navigating complex customer issues **What we offer:** + Competitive compensation and benefits package + Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team + Great company benefits including onsite parking + We make your aspirations matter – Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible + We make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term – not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University + We make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people’s lives and the environment through power management technologies + We make your wellbeing matter – We put your health and safety first.
