Inviting applications for the role of After-Sales Technical Support, MedTech Operations - Vice President – English


In this role, you will lead a global operations team supporting one of Genpact’s valued MedTech clients. You will oversee technical support, logistics coordination, and service delivery for 200 medical devices, directly impacting global healthcare life sciences customers.

Responsibilities

Lead Genpact’s after-sales technical support operations across global hubs (Europe, Asia and Americas), overseeing a 300 FTE organization.Manage 24/7 service processes, including hotline support, engineer dispatch, and real-time spare parts logistics.Deliver against tight SLAs (including 2-hour resolution windows) in crisis-driven, time-sensitive MedTech service environments.Coordinate with third-party field service vendors and logistics partners to ensure seamless on-site resolution.Ensure end-to-end service continuity for major healthcare clients.Act as the escalation point for operational issues impacting customer experience and sales performance.Implement performance management systems and drive continuous improvement across all service processes.Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal Genpact teams to align on goals and drive account success.Lead with integrity and discretion in this confidential backfill position, ensuring a smooth leadership transition.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant technical discipline.Significant years of experience managing global service delivery or technical support operations with large headcount responsibility.Strong people management skills, including leading cross-functional, multilingual teams across regions.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Experience in MedTech or medical device companies.Demonstrated ability to manage crisis-resolution workflows and field service logistics.Prior experience in working with high-profile clients in regulated, mission-critical environments.Based in Bucharest or open to relocation.
