The After Sales Engineer will establish and maintain excellent and professional customer relations and be the point of contact for our customers, provide technical support to customers and participate in root-cause troubleshooting, collaborate with other internal departments and with distributors to ensure customer satisfaction, and other work as listed below.

Job responsibilities

• Customer support by phone and email
• Provide customers with all necessary technical support (Troubleshooting, repair instructions, repair quotations, support with IPC and other product documentation etc.)
• Support warranty claims process
• AOG support, on-call duty
• Support the customer and internal business functions in resolution of in-service technical events
• Participate in sustaining engineering activities and drive the implementations of the necessary product improvements and technical solutions for customers with issues.
• Participate in technical documentation creation, review and approval for release processes (such as Service Bulletins, Notification Circulars, Maintenance Manuals, IPC etc.)
• Manage retrofits; work with internal functions in identifying and incorporating optimal solutions, plan for and secure inventory needed to support customers in service
• Collecting and analysing data on product in use
• Contribute towards optimal levels of spares inventory
• Support spares sales budgeting and forecasting process
• Working with distributors to ensure customer satisfaction of end-users
• Cooperate with other business functions (such as Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain etc.), as appropriate and as needed
• Maintain regular reporting to internal organization
• Lead and manage business improvement projects
• Other business administration work (invoicing, receipts, maintaining data in Infor, etc.)

What do we expect from the candidate?

• Bachelor in a technical field
• At least 2 years' experience in similar or equivalent work
• Knowledge of the aviation sector (recommended)
• Knowledge of MS Office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proficiency in English

Poprodajni inženir/inženirka bo vzpostavljal/a in vzdrževal/a odlične in profesionalne odnose s strankami, ter bil/a kontaktna oseba za naše stranke, nudil/a bo tehnično podporo strankam in sodeloval/a pri odpravljanju vzrokov težav, sodeloval/a z drugimi internimi oddelki in distributerji za zagotavljanje zadovoljstva strank, ter opravljal/a druga dela, navedena spodaj.

Delovne obveznosti

• Podpora strankam po telefonu in e-pošti
• Zagotavljanje vse potrebne tehnične podpore strankam (odpravljanje težav, navodila za popravilo, ponudbe za popravilo, podpora pri IPC in drugi dokumentaciji o izdelkih itd.)
• Podpora postopku uveljavljanja garancijskih zahtevkov
• Podpora AOG, dežurstva na klic
• Podpora strankam in internim poslovnim funkcijam pri reševanju tehničnih dogodkov med obratovanjem
• Sodelovanje pri vzdrževalnih inženirskih dejavnostih in spodbujanje implementacije potrebnih izboljšav izdelkov in tehničnih rešitev za stranke s težavami.
• Sodelovanje pri ustvarjanju, pregledu in odobritvi tehnične dokumentacije za postopke izdaje (kot so servisni bilteni, obvestilni okrožniki, priročniki za vzdrževanje, IPC itd.)
• Upravljanje naknadnih vgradenj; Sodelovanje z notranjimi funkcijami pri prepoznavanju in vključevanju optimalnih rešitev, načrtovanju in zagotavljanju zalog, potrebnih za podporo strankam med uporabo.
• Zbiranje in analiziranje podatkov o izdelku v uporabi.
• Prispevanje k optimalni ravni zalog rezervnih delov.
• Podpora procesu načrtovanja in napovedovanja prodaje rezervnih delov.
• Sodelovanje z distributerji za zagotavljanje zadovoljstva končnih uporabnikov.
• Sodelovanje z drugimi poslovnimi funkcijami (kot so inženiring, kakovost, proizvodnja, dobavna veriga itd.), kot je primerno in potrebno.
• Redno poročanje notranji organizaciji.
• Vodenje in upravljanje projektov za izboljšanje poslovanja.
• Drugo delo poslovne administracije (izdajanje računov, prejemki, vzdrževanje podatkov v informacijskem sistemu itd.).

Kaj pričakujemo od kandidata/kandidatke?

• Dokončano visokošolsko izobraževanje tehnične smeri
• Vsaj 2 leti delovnih izkušenj na podobnih ali enakih delih
• Poznavanje področja letalstva (priporočeno)

• Odlične komunikacijske in organizacijske sposobnosti
• Tekoče znanje angleškega jezika
