We are currently recruiting for a an After Hours Claims Adjuster to join our team.

 

The successful candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims by telephone and correspondence. Given this is an after-hours support role, the successful candidate would be required to work within the below timeframes: 

Weekdays (Monday to Friday): between 4:30pm to 12:30am 
Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): between 8:30am to 4:30pm and 4:30pm to 12:30am

Knowledge of commercial and personal lines in both Property and Auto PD will be considered an assetPost-secondary education in an insurance related field working towards full license and CIP designationAbility to conduct telephone investigations, evaluate, negotiate and settle first and third party commercial lines claimsProficient in maintaining accurate and detailed activity, transaction and reserve recordsAdvanced computer skills including Office 365 and Windows 10Excellent communication skillsMust be a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer serviceFrench/English Bilingualism would be considered an assetCommitment to continuous learningInvestigation, collection, and analysis of claims informationEvaluates coverage, liability and quantumConfirms and documents coverageAssesses evidence and applies liability analysisReviews medical records and assesses and reserves for damagesObtains all documentation to complete claimAccurate recording, reporting and presentation of filesDocuments all activities on systemReports promptly to principalMaintains master claims fileMaintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense recordsCompletes accurate time capture and docketingGenerates and processes client invoicingWork with manager to maintain client relationsEnsures compliance with client programs and standardsDeliver Exceptional Customer Service
