What You'll Do

Analysing business capability gaps and training needsOverseeing the design, development and improvement of training paths and content, either through roll-out of global and regional programs or alternativelty through execution of complementary local initiativesIncreasing efficiency and productivity through continuous process improvement and automationSupporting learners through training- and workshop facilitation, coaching and mentoring initiativesEvaluating and measuring the impact of trainingsBeing a trusted advisor, providing guidance and direction to Managers and other key stakeholdersManaging financial responsibilities, such as the local training budget, tracking expenses, vendor contracting and invoice processingProactively scouting and evaluating external training contractorsLeading 1-2 direct reports, managing professional development tasks (coach, mentor, support growth), performance management and career development tasks (check-ins, feedback, reviews), workload planning responsibilities and maintaining a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environmentLiaising with other HR teams to ensure embed trainings in the end-to-end BCG Career development process in the AFR system

What You'll Bring

Qualifications

University Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Economics or related Human SciencesAt least 6 years of working experience in a Learning & Development role, ideally in a structured corporate environment or consultancy companyFluency in French & English are required

 

 

KEY COMPETENCIES

 

Solid business acumen in professional services or corporate environmentStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across different leadership levels, countries and culturesExcellent communication skills (written and oral) and facilitation skillsAbility to quickly grasp and navigate complex reporting relationships and stakeholder matrices and deal with ambiguityAdvanced level experience with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OutlookExperience leading others as a people managerFamiliarity in Learning Management Systems (LMS), e.g., SABA and Cornerstone or similar and solid undertanding of emerging learning technology and trendsProven track record to perform successfully in a fast-paced and service-oriented environment
