Job title: Affordability Solutions Manager
Overall Objectives
Ensure effective planning, implementation, and oversight of approved Affordability Solutions (i.e. Financial Patient Program) for key therapeutic areasDrive growth by strengthening the equity of the company, the solutions and services among defined patient segments and channelsUnderstand the evolving healthcare ecosystem and consumer journey to gain understanding of their needs and/or pain points, and establish the strategy, road map and plan on how to operationalize FPP implementation effectively, in compliance with global, regional, and local policies and standardsEngage and establish partnership with stakeholders that directly touch the patient journey in order to facilitate patient navigation from awareness to fulfillment, facilitate patient access to relevant health information, solutions and/or services and improve over-all-patient journeyTrack and monitor FPP implementation to ensure strict adherence to company’s compliance controls, local laws; and identify, mitigate risk or remediate gaps to prevent misuse of the programKey Responsibilities:
Program Ownership, FPP Strategy, Program Design:
Over-all program owner of Affordability Solutions Programs or Financial Patient Programs (FPP) and responsible and accountable for the operational planning, implementation, and oversight of approved Affordability Solutions (i.e. Financial Patient Program) for key therapeutic areasSupport the BU in the development of the Financial Patient Program (FPP) strategy & roadmap across business units including in-line products and new productsSupport BU in the design & calibration of innovative Means Test-based FPPSupport the BU in the planning and execution of in-market pilots to test key hypotheses and improve programs based on pilot learnings and insights from key stakeholder including patients and HCPs Responsible to ensure a seamless overall patient experience in the end-to-end FPP’s processFPP Operationalization Planning & Execution:
Collaborate the BU on the FPP strategy, and lead the establishment of the road map and plan for operationalization of Affordability SolutionsLead the collaboration with the BU in the development of Communication & Engagement Plans including related content development to ensure awareness of relevant stakeholders about the program: HCPs (BU-driven), Patients and other stakeholders in the value chain (ASM-driven) and facilitate access to information and patient navigation, while adhering to compliance controlsUnderstand the nuances of various channels and individual accounts to identify account-specific requirements to ensure effective execution and seamless overall patient experience in the end-to-end FPP’s process.Work on operational improvement and new ideas along with the BU, Finance, KAMs and other internal stakeholders (e.g. Compliance, Supply Chain, etc.) to improve on-ground execution of these programsSupport the BU in the implementation of in-market pilots to test key hypotheses and improve programs based on pilot learnings and insights from key stakeholder including patients and HCPsManage Internal & External Relations:
Oversee existing partners / vendors to ensure execution of patient programs is in line with the strategy and design that has initially been aligned with LTConnect with partners on a regular basis to review and implement the action plan and ensure key metrics are in line with expected outcomes.Work with the distribution network and patient program administrators to ensure all eligible patients receive timely therapyManage Means Testing operationalization (platforms, patient interface) and ensure adjustments in algorithms are implemented as defined and signed-off by the BUWork with other relevant cross-functional teams (e.g. Finance, Medical, PV, Legal & Compliance, IT, DD&A,) in developing guidelines, processes, resources and systems (e.g. MS Access) that will support FPP ImplementationLeverage cross-functional strategies and orchestrate cross-functional teams to mobilize the necessary resources within the Company to deliver value for patients and the communityStrengthen collaboration and alignment with Global and Regional teams to learn best practices and gain strong support on FPP managementMarket, Product and Healthcare Consumer Knowledge:
Acquire basic knowledge of the brands (current and pipeline) and the channelsActs as trusted partner and serves as a point of contact between patient journey stakeholders and in order to gain a deep understanding of the healthcare consumer and patient needs and/or pain pointsBring the outside in by working and engaging with healthcare consumer and/or patient groups, healthcare service providers, digital and financial technology providers, trade channels, healthcare providers, payers, and government agencies, and all other relevant stakeholders that touch on the patient journey to understand to uncover all potential opportunities such as roadblocks to information, treatment, and additional sources of funding, innovations, new trends to bring the outside in, and input into program enhancements or improvementsSupport market research and persona building initiatives and actively participate in Brand Plan (ie relevant L3 or Marketing Planning Framework process).Tracking, Reporting & Oversight:
Establish governance to monitor the FPP programs including monitoring and achieving KPI, as allowed by the Data MatrixIdentify the most relevant Compliance Controls, KPIs, and required analytics & tracking measures for FPP programs to evaluate effectiveness of controls, impact to patients journey, as well as the other FPP KPIs and adjust plans as appropriate (data matrix)Measure and analyze the qualitative and the quantitative impact of the different FPP activities in order to continuously adapt the programs and/or initiatives to evolving patient needsPrepare a comprehensive evaluation of implemented FPP programs to determine process improvement and/or FPP design opportunities and critical success factors for expansion and scale up, if applicableEducation:
Graduate of a 4-year College Course, preferably health or business relatedExperience and Skills:
At least 5 years managerial level marketing or sales experienceManagerial competenceLeadership capabilitiesExcellent track recordExcellent English and Filipino Oral, Written and Presentation SkillsDesired Skills:
