We are looking for an Affinity Development Director in the UK

As Sedgwick continues to expand and evolve, we’re seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with track record of experience to grow our Insurance business relationships direct with affinity partners. We’re already with some partners and have a range of exciting propositions that we’re keen to build on and with others for mutual benefit. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop key account relationships with some of the biggest brands in the UK, supporting our mission to grow our client base while strengthening long-standing partnerships.

About the Role:

As the Affinity Relationship Director, you’ll be responsible for refining our proposition for the Affinity market, leveraging the broader Sedgwick suite of digital capability to build propositions for potential new partners across differing consumer lines.  You’ll also provide account management stewardship to existing affinity partners — acting as their advocate within Sedgwick. You’ll ensure we deliver on our commitments and lead strategic conversations that unlock mutual value with affinity partners. With a strong understanding of various classes of business Property, Travel, Motor within consumer lines, you’ll already be a respected figure in the affinity partnerships environment.

While your primary focus will be working with Affinity partners, you’ll also have the opportunity to work with composite Insurers,  London markets and with MGAs.

This is a senior, cross-functional role with national reach, requiring regular travel to client offices, Sedgwick regional hubs, and our London headquarters.

You will have/will be:

Experienced:

In developing business with affinity partners and managing relationships with them

Developing strategic client relationships

With a strong presence in the insurance affinity sector

Digital technology

In navigating complex insurer environments and engaging with senior stakeholders

A natural collaborator:

Able to work across internal teams including IT, marketing, practice leaders, and technical operational specialists

Comfortable influencing and aligning with senior internal and external stakeholders

Commercially driven:

Focused on new business growth and client retention

Skilled in identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities

Motivated by delivering creative, value-driven solutions

Key Responsibilities:

Deepen and expand relationships with senior decision-makers with affinity partners

Refine existing affinity partner propositions and build new ones to meet client requirements

Promote and cross-sell Sedgwick’s full suite of claims management services

Drive market share growth with Affinity partners

Represent Sedgwick through thought leadership, tenders, presentations, and industry events

Identify innovative ways to help clients deliver faster, safer, and more effective claims strategies
