Job Description

Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support the Affiliate Safety Representative (ASR) and Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety, Epidemiology, and RDQA (PSEQ) Regional teams in ensuring oversight of all aspects of the performance and functioning of the Pharmacovigilance (PV) system in compliance with local regulations, internal company timelines/standards, and act as a back-up for the ASR.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with PSEQ regional teams to support the ASR in ensuring oversight of all aspects of the performance and functioning of the Pharmacovigilance system in compliance with local regulations, internal company timelines/standards.

Supports the ASR and PSEQ Regional teams to ensure:Quality system mechanisms, ICSR management requirements, Periodic Safety Reporting requirements are in place.Appropriate audits and inspection management.Proper support to business partners with safety information reporting responsibilities.Compliance with Pharmacovigilance training requirements.Local affiliate PV Disaster Recovery Plan/Business Continuity Plan is established for continuation of critical business processes for PV.Supports the ASR in setting a local safety & Pharmacovigilance strategy including Pharmacovigilance contributions to launch readiness and Pharmacovigilance  advocacy efforts.Maintains awareness of safety issues, risk management and benefit/risk profile of company products.Acts as a back-up for the Affiliate Safety Representative.

Significant Work Activities:

Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is requiredFrequent to continuous computer usage (greater or equal to 50% of the workday) is required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Health disciplines. A minimum of two years of experience in Pharmacovigilance is preferred.Professional experience in disease management in a patient/health related field preferred.Good writing and oral skills in English and Spanish.Computer proficient with Microsoft programs particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel.Ability to work with multiple priorities in a work environment with frequent interruptions.Ability to perform teamwork.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​​

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​​​
