AFATDS SME/Systems Analyst
Position Description:

Utilize AFATDS operational knowledge to review system requirements and design/create operational test cases and/or formal qualification test procedures for the AFATDS version 6.8.1.4P1 development effort. Investigates and resolves operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. Participate in various Agile scrum ceremonies throughout the development cycle. Provide operational perspective to the team to aid in the implementation of capabilities and features during the development cycle. Provide operational perspectives in the setup and execution of test activities.

This position is located in Lawton, OK.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Participate in the Agile Scrum Team for the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS)
• Assist team members in the creation and refinement of stories for the current epic backlog
• Attend and participate in scrum ceremonies (daily scrums, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives)
• Assist in the update and review of specification documents
• Assist in the update and review of technical manuals and Instructor & Key Personnel training material
• Assume duties to install, set up, and operate external interfaces to AFATDS to allow development personnel to focus on software development activities
• Develop test procedure documents for stories and bug fixes; assume role as primary test execution person for the scrum team
• Conduct Regression Testing as needed
• Assist other analysts in the development, review, and execution of application-level test documents
• Write Software Test Reports and propose corrective action for each issue/discrepancy

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• A Bachelor’s Degree
• 7 years of system experience
• Willing to travel up to 10% CONUS to support operational requirement
• Due to timelines associated with this task, must have an Active Secret clearance
• Operational knowledge and experience in using AFATDS

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
List items desired for the Candidate but not required.
• Familiarity with DoD processes a plus
• Experience with Joint mission coordination tactics and procedures
• Experience with developing, refining, and executing requirement-level and system-level test procedures
• Experience in Agile development environment
• Experience with Atlassian project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,700.00 - $154,300.00.
