We are seeking an experienced WarehouseMaterial Handler to join our team on a full-time permanent basis based in Port Melbourne. This position is on day shift and will be based 100% onsite.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the primary function of this role is to perform materials movements within the warehouse environment leading to and including the distribution of components and materials directly to the production line.

Position Responsibilities:

Forklift movements including loading and unloading trucksMovement of goods and componentsPacking and put away activitiesStock replenishmentKitting of trolleys, trailers and boxesDelivery of materials, consumables, paints and sealants Supporting cycle counting throughout warehouse and purchased materialsSupporting basic inventory transactions through SAP

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

Experience within a manufacturing/warehouse environment and knowledge of the process flows within Current Forklift License with experience using counterbalance and high reach forkliftsBasic computer skills in MS Excel, Word and OutlookSafety conscious and able to adhere to safety requirementsAbility to work in a routine and fast paced environmentHigh attention to detail with a ‘can do’ attitudeAbility to work without supervisionExcellent communication skillsGood interpersonal skills and ability to liaise directly with internal customersPrepared to work in a changing environment and adapt to continuous improvementFull unrestricted working rights in Australia

Additional Information:

This is an Enterprise Agreement position classified as Warehouse Material Handlers (WMH).

The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment checks and a 3 month probationary period.
