Position Overview -- Seeking a highly experienced and versatile Engineer with a strong experience in Electromechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering. With sUAS development experience with software, hardware, and embedded systems to join our growing sUAS development team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is passionate about building next-generation drone platforms.
Key Responsibilities
•\tDesign, develop, and integrate sUAS systems across electrical, mechanical, and software domains
•\tLead development and testing of flight control systems using PX4 and MAVLink protocols
•\tConfigure and optimize CUBE autopilot hardware and Ubuntu-based development environments
•\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support DOD, government, and commercial UAS programs
•\tTroubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues
Required Skills & Experience
•\t3–5+ years of \"real\" hands-on experience developing sUAS design, development for manufacturing of a product. Design, develop, and integrate sUAS systems across electrical, mechanical, and software domains
Proficiency with:
•\tMAVLink communication protocol
•\tPX4 flight stack
•\tCUBE autopilot hardware
•\tUbuntu/Linux development environments
•\tStrong electrical engineering fundamentals (e.g., wiring, power systems, sensors)
•\tExperience with drone operations, flight testing, and mission planning
•\tFamiliarity with DOD or government UAS programs is a strong plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $57.00/hr.
