Job Description: Design Checker

As a Design Checker, you will play a crucial role in verifying engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness. You will ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications, identify and correct errors, omissions, or discrepancies in drawings, and collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve drawing issues.

ResponsibilitiesVerify engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness.Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.Identify and correct errors, omissions, or discrepancies in drawings.Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve drawing issues.Maintain updated records of drawing revisions and approvals.Utilize specialized software to review and edit drawings.Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures for drawings.Provide feedback and recommendations for improving drawing accuracy and clarity.Essential SkillsExpertise in blueprint reading.Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Experience as a checker.SolidWorks proficiency.Design and drafting skills.5+ years of experience in design checking.Experience with tolerance stack-ups.Aerospace industry experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociates or Bachelor's degree preferred.SolidWorks experience preferred.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
