Aerospace Customer Property and Proposal Support Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting Military Tooling and U.S. Government Defense articles following Tooling Procedure 01-85-100 Rev. 14.0. and interfacing with the MQ1 Quality system and the CAV U.S. Navy repair asset portal. Additionally, this role will support the Military Platform Team with proposal support. You will also work with other key accounts to ensure that their inventory is accounted for and handled appropriately at all times.
You will work on-site at our Sylmar, CA facility and report to the Global Business Director, Military & Specialty Transparencies
Responsibilities:
Accountable for all Military customer-owned tooling on-site and at sub-locations, including manufacturing sites, Application Support Centers, vendor sites, and U.S. Government Defense assets both on and off-site, managing receipt claims, work order generation for returns and repairs, and maintaining tooling order, location, and security within site buildings and secured storage areas.Maintain and update tooling status, locations, and Tooling Work Order Requests (TWR) within tracking databases and portals, ensuring customer approval as required.Oversee the movement of tooling into and out of manufacturing sites, coordinating with Quality Inspection on required calibration activities for customer-owned Check Fixture tools.Maintain U.S. Navy portal access for all CAV activities related to repair assets.Collaborate with Sales and Inside Sales Representatives (CSR) on purchase order tooling closures and RFQ tooling allocations.Coordinate U.S. Government proposal responses (RFQs) and Post-Award Requests (PAR), ensuring proposals meet all customer requirements including formatting, certifications, and submission guidelines.Assist in organizing, assembling, formatting, proofreading, and editing proposal documents for clarity, consistency, and compliance, while managing proposal libraries, past performance data, and reusable content.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant academic discipline OR three (3) or more years’ experience in manufacturing, operations, or customer service.Deep understanding of government procurement processes (e.g. FAR/DFARS) preferred.Familiarity with US Gov’t proposals, associated proposal sites and RFP/RFQ processes and terminology required.Must currently hold or have the ability to obtain an industrial powered equipment license required.Must currently hold or have the ability to obtain U.S. security clearance required.Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.#LI-Onsite
The base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually. All offer amounts are dictated by length/breadth of applicable experience and current departmental pay equity.
