Join a world-class leader in designing, building, and manufacturing aerospace structures, systems, and components for commercial, business, regional, and military aerospace customers. As an Assembler, you will perform tasks such as drilling and deburring parts to prepare for assembly, attaching component parts together by installing ground studs, nut plates, or bonding. You will utilize hand and pneumatic tools, measuring tools like Micrometers and Calipers, and perform riveting and countersinking while working from aerospace blueprints and schematics. We value candidates with a mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a drive to learn.
ResponsibilitiesPerform pre-assembly tasks like drilling and deburring parts.Assemble component parts by installing ground studs and attaching nut plates.Utilize hand and pneumatic tools for assembly tasks.Measure using tools such as Micrometers and Calipers.Conduct riveting and countersinking operations.Work from aerospace blueprints and schematics.Essential SkillsPrior aerospace assembly experience.Experience with sheet metal.Ability to countersink and use squeezing techniques.Mechanical inclination and experience using measuring tools like calipers, shim gauges, and height gauges.Ability to read and understand work instructions and blueprints.Effective communication skills and ability to read/speak English.Additional Skills & QualificationsPositive attitude and eagerness to learn.Experience with hand tools.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a clean and organized manufacturing shop that specializes in steel and sheet metal to manufacture parts. The environment can be heavy and loud, with shifts starting at 6:30 am and ending at 3:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Ensure physical proof of citizenship is available on your first day, as this is required for compliance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
