Job DescriptionPerform maintenance, repair, and modification operations on helicopter sheet metal structures and components, ensuring structural integrity, conformity, and safety in line with aeronautical regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and troubleshoot structures to identify malfunctions.
Disassemble assemblies to access faults.
Repair, adjust, realign, manufacture, or replace defective components.
Perform structural modifications and corrosion protection treatments.
Assemble parts using fasteners (rivets, screws, adhesives) per specifications.
Accurately assess damage to aircraft structural components.
Ensure compliance with specifications, technical publications, and safety standards.
Apply corrosion treatment using mechanical and chemical processes.
Maintain accurate records in CMMS and ensure closure of maintenance anomalies.
QualificationsMastery of metallic structure repair and modification techniques.
Strong background in diagnosing and troubleshooting structural issues.
Skilled with specialized tooling (jigs, fixtures, forming tools).
Proficiency in aeronautical fastening/assembly methods (riveting, bonding, screwing).
Knowledge of aeronautical materials (aluminum alloys, titanium, steels).
Competence in corrosion treatment methods.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
Familiarity with international standards (EASA, FAA).
Experience with CMMS systems.
