Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AEM Localization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing translation packages in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring timely hand-offs and the functional quality of translated web content, and coordinating with web publishers to ensure accurate and timely publication of translated content.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Create Target Languages in AEM: Set up and manage target languages within the AEM environment to support multilingual content readiness. Manage Translation Packages: Develop and oversee the creation of translation packages, ensuring all necessary content is included and properly formatted. Quality Control (QC): Conduct thorough quality checks on translated content to ensure functional quality before it is published. Coordinate with Web Publishers: Work closely with web publishers to ensure translated content is correctly implemented and published on the website. Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and resolve any issues related to translation packages and multilingual content within AEM. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of translation processes, guidelines, and best practices. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including content creators, translators, and developers, to streamline the translation workflow.

 

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience of 4-6 years in managing translation packages and multilingual content in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

·       AEM Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with AEM’s translation workflows, quality control processes, Translation Integration Framework, APIs, and the ability to integrate AEM with third-party Translation Management Systems (TMS).

·       Localization and Internationalization (i18n): Knowledge of localization and internationalization standards, character encoding, and region-specific formatting considerations.

·       Translation Management Systems (TMS): Experience with popular TMS platforms (e.g., WorldServer, Memsource, or Smartling) and how to integrate these with AEM.

·       Nice to Have: SEO and Multilingual Optimization: Understanding of multilingual SEO and regional best practices to optimize translated content for search engines in various languages.

Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address translation-related issues.
