The Role
We are seeking to recruit a high performing Manager into our Strategy& Aerospace and Defence Practice.
This role is a unique opportunity to join the growing team in Italy and enter a global network of 4,500 strategy consultants worldwide part of a larger PwC network of more than 370,000 employees.
As a project leader you will have the opportunity to manage complex projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with high-profile clients to develop and implement innovative strategies and drive transformational change for prestigious businesses; working with leading International and Italian players in the industry you will be able to drive impactful projects with some of the most influential companies in the sector.

Driving innovation and excellence is in our DNA. Collaborating with our global Strategy& Aerospace and Defence consulting team, you will assist clients in redefining corporate strategies, governing and anticipating future market trends, participating to complex multinational defence programs, devising go-to-market strategies, and many other various topics typical of sector CEO’s agenda.
You will be working with senior stakeholders in the business to challenge and design and deploy innovative and fully comprehensive Aerospace and Defence programs. In addition to building on your demonstrated technical skills, you will use your leadership and emotional capabilities to grow, inspire and mentor others, build strong client relationships, and become respected within the firm as the go-to-person for your areas of expertise.

What we look for
We are seeking exceptional people with exceptional backgrounds, both from Strategy Consulting and leading corporate institutions.
Candidate description
You will have a proven track record of career progression and achievements, having worked in internationally, with a history of completed projects and contributions to client and practice development in the Aerospace and Defence sector
You will have excellent academic achievement (Bachelor’s degree typically in mathematics, finance, economics, engineering or medicine and a Masters/MBA, achieved from a world leading education institution)
You will likely have 5-7 years of strategy consulting experience at a top-tier firm, ideally in Aerospace and Defence practices focusing on corporate strategy, multinational defence programs, complex M&A processes, business planning and go-to-market strategy. Alternatively, you may have similar experience in a leading corporate institution within the Aerospace and Defence industry
You will be a naturally curious, highly numerate, self-starter with exceptional analytical skills and feel at ease in bringing structure to solving ambiguous problems
Structuring and presenting Aerospace and Defence propositions come natural to you; you lead teams to quickly create, segment and analyse baselines through a multitude of outside in and inside out methodologies
You will understand how to enable programs to deliver results at various phases of the engagement lifecycle through effective process and delivery mechanisms. You will also be responsible for project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
You will be comfortable in adapting to a multitude of client environments and display the personal characteristics to successfully be recognized as a thought leader by our Clients
You will have command of both Italian and English, being able to effectively work and present to senior stakeholders in both languages, with a third European language as a plus
You will most likely have successful interests/passions outside of work, whether in sports, social contribution, NGO/Charity Leadership or executive directorships, as examples
You will have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills
You will be skilled at securing follow-up projects with existing clients, ensuring continuity and fostering long-term relationships
Some projects may also require international trips
