This opportunity entails being responsible for supporting one of the Advisory Practice Groups.The selected candidate will support asset management and O&M consulting services, focusing on public-private partnership (P3) projects, performance-based maintenance, and life cycle cost analysis. The role involves assisting with technical evaluations, performance monitoring, and data-driven decision-making related to the long-term operation and maintenance of transportation assets.
Key Responsibilities:
•Support asset management strategies for major transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, tunnels, and transit assets.
•Assist in developing life cycle cost models and maintenance optimization strategies.
•Analyze performance-based maintenance contract requirements and provide technical recommendations.
•Review and interpret asset condition data, helping clients optimize long-term asset performance.
•Conduct benchmarking studies and financial analysis to evaluate O&M efficiencies under P3 contracts.
•Collaborate with clients to assess risk, cost, and performance.
•Support procurements through the development of qualification and proposal requirements, Technical Requirements, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), payment mechanisms, and compliance monitoring programs.
•Contribute to technical reports, proposals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
•Experience: 3-6 years of experience in asset management, O&M, or performance-based maintenance.
•P3 Expertise: Previous experience working with a Developer or Concessionaire under a P3 contract, focusing on O&M of transportation infrastructure.
What You'll Do:
Prepares various reporting, forecasting, analysis and modeling for the delivery team on financial, marketing and economics on projects. Responsible for research and discovery on market and economic data for pursuits. Performs in-depth analysis on government programs to vet eligibility, qualifications/ criteria and recommendation on projects. Reviews presented transactions history and past case studies.Partners with pursuit teams to gather and consolidate business intelligence and project qualifications, compiles proposal materials and supports proposal preparation.Supports the Advisory team with market outreach, including involvement in events and conferences. Assists in coordinating internal outreach and information efforts to promote Advisory within the firm.Responsible for scheduling and preparing materials for internal and external meetings, tracking and managing engagement details, and managing documents.Supports the Advisory team in developing, writing and implementing thought leadership initiatives.Performs other duties as assignedWhat You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field3 years’ relevant experience; Infrastructure-related work in engineering, law, finance, public policy or other relevant disciplinesWhat We Prefer:
Understanding of life cycle cost analysis and asset management principles.Familiarity with performance-based maintenance contracting.Experience with asset inspection, condition assessment, and maintenance planningKnowledge of infrastructure management systems and data analytics.Possesses strong ambition and curiosity, asks questions and seeks contextual understanding of situations.Resourceful, anticipates issues and develops solutions.Strong communications skills in general, excellent writing ability in particular.Experienced and creative in developing presentations, with both strong expertise in Powerpoint/graphics and an ability to distill key messages into a compelling story.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.Interested in infrastructure and transportation specifically (interest in or knowledge of innovative delivery methods is a plus).Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs.Additional Information

The approximate pay range for New York is $81,339.98 - $159,030.08. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state..
