Advisor Service Associate (Remote)
What You'll Do As an Advisor Service Associate, you’ll establish and maintain relationships with financial professionals and firms. You’ll partner with field and internal sales representative and client service personal to build and improve relationships between advisors and company in addition, you will serve as an advocate for the interests of advisors within RIS and Principal with a goal of maximizing Producer loyalty to the company. Communicating effectively with advisors as well as internal/external partners. Onboarding first-time advisors introducing them to Principal and educating them on the numerous tools we have to offer. Maintaining a high degree of expertise with investment options, services', results, and philosophy Gathering information and understanding the needs of advisors and prospective clients to support product and service development and improvement efforts. Who You Are Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant work experience (retirement and/or financial services experience strongly preferred). Requires excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Good problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills are required. Must be able to balance working independently with working in a team environment to meet advisors' need and achieve business unit goals. Basic math, organizational, reading comprehension and interpretation, and computer skills. 5% travel Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $19.47 - $39.81 / hour Time Off Program Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Pension Eligible Yes Additional Information Work Environment This role offers hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC).
