We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Operations Advisor in our US Onshore Resources & Carbon Management (ORCM), EOR Business Unit based in Denver City, Texas.
Essential Job Duties:
Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate, as our highest priority
Assure compliance to Policy and Procedure expectations/standards (MOC’s, PSSR’s, Procedures, Audits, etc.)
Ensure others including yourself, are respected, supported and encouraged to grow and succeed in their job
Develop a list of EOR surplus equipment to share with surface leads to reduce DT and inventory levels
Create a method to increase inventory visibility for critical equipment
Support R&M Team to drive uptime improvements for critical equipment within EOR. This consist of LP Compressors, VRU’s and various pumps.
Support operations maintenance staff to implement best maintenance practices and provide technical expertise to reduce costs, and improve process uptime and mechanical reliability
Support surface surveillance to maximize uptime and throughput
Support OPEX reduction and various optimization initiatives
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance for equipment to maximize uptime and throughput
Lead/Support RCFA’s for critical equipment failures
Work with Prod Ops and Operations to ensure RCFA coordination between groups
Grow in knowledge to become a subject matter expert for compression, injection pumps, system operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and site optimization
Support continuous improvement & maintenance program optimization
Provide feedback operations to provide to Facilities Engineering Team to improve design reliability and operation
Coordinate and communicate with Surface Leads around PM, Inventory, and various operational improvements
Coordinate and communicate with Prod ops to ensure alignment of various reliability programs
Coordinate with operations to ensure alignment with various Prod ops initiatives
Work with SAP and Transformation team to create visibility of inventory
Work with Transformation team to communicate Maintenance Capital needs to improve operations
Provide input on the operation, control and preventative maintenance of surface equipment
Participate on committees to develop standards for surface equipment
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
5-10 years of industrial experience in operating, troubleshooting and/or maintaining of surface processes and equipment including but not limited to LP compressors, VRU’s and Injection pumps.
Knowledgeable in Oil and Gas Industry and best practices
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Demonstrated strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and effectively within a team and with other teams or departments
Must have valid driver's license with a good driving record
Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft office software (preferred)
