We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Advisor IT IoT Platform & Solutions within our Industrial Control Systems group based in Houston, TX, USA.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide primary support for our Azure and AWS IoT platforms.Assist business customers with IoT troubleshooting and coordinating issue resolution.Develop, maintain, and improve infrastructure as code automation in support of IoT platforms.Research, test, pilot and evaluate new IoT technologiesParticipate in the 24/7 ICS on-call rotation schedule several times a year.Manage IoT project activities across business, vendors, and other IT groups and stakeholders.Develop and publish IoT documentation, knowledge articles, standards, best practices, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree is Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of studyMinimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industryProficiency with SCADA, DCS, or other process control technologiesStrong knowledge of Azure and AWS IoT platformsStrong knowledge of IoT device Linux-based operating systemsBasic understanding of container technologies (e.g. Docker)Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and in a collaborative environment
