The Advisor Group Coordinator role will provide operational and organizational support for a Thrivent Advisor Group. The Advisor Group Coordinator is responsible for performing Advisor Group operational tasks, such as triaging incoming requests related to members and FAs, managing multiple types of data, and executing on project plans with excellence and accuracy, exercising sound judgment as they work to execute on key strategies and tactics.
The role will play an overall support role for the Advisor Group Support Manager, Leader of Group Operations, and front-line field leaders by using their knowledge, judgment, and expertise to resolve issues and questions that do not have clear answers or direction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for managing incoming requests to the Advisor Group, providing information and directing to the appropriate stakeholder for decisions as needed. This will often include resolving questions and determining the best approach in situations without a clear way forward, such as management of the Advisor Group mailbox, processing of FP terminations, and addressing questions related to orphan members and financial advisors. Review processes and procedures and use best practices to make recommendations for changes and improvements.
Supports Advisor Group strategic efforts and programs, including:Communications: Preparing and managing Advisor Group level communications (newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) that are accurate, concise and compelling.Event planning: Providing project coordination and tracking of critical details related to culture building activities, such as the Three Pillars events and other Advisor Group leadership events.
Responsible for run-the-business tasks for the Advisor Group, using sound judgment to complete tasks, escalating as necessary. This includes items related to:Finances: Working with Advisor Group leaders and Financial Technicians to ensure expenses are processed as neededCompliance and supervision: Collaborating with Senior Field Risk Manager and others to ensure key data for training files and incentives is tracked and maintained in accordance with enterprise supervision guidelines.Client assignment: Provides end to end coordination of reassignment process for Advisor Group and communicating with centralized assignment teamOffice management: Support overall office management needs and processesOnboarding new team members: Assist hiring managers with coordination of resources to enable smooth starts for new employees (leaders and staff)Other operational projects, processing and programs as needed.
Develop and maintain strong, trusting business relationships with key stakeholders, including other Advisor Group leaders and staff, Senior Field Risk Managers, financial professionals, Centers of Excellence partners, and other corporate associates.
Support other projects or processes as a key resource for the Advisor Group Support Manager and Leader of Group Operations as other issues and tasks arise.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or related areas, or equivalency in related acquired training and experience.4+ years of experience with project or process management, complex multi-tasking activities or similar experience.Financial services industry experience is a plusDemonstrated project management skills – success in managing, prioritizing, and organizing multiple projects at onceExcellent communication skills – oral, written, presentation and interpersonalProven ability to think proactively to anticipate needs and prepare accordinglyDemonstrated sound decision-making skills and service-minded attitudeStrong execution skills, with excellent attention to detail and strong follow throughProven ability to maintain the highest ethical and professional standardsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn other software (Salesforce, etc.)History of providing high-quality work and gaining trust of colleaguesFlexibility to work both remotely and in a specific location as requiredAbility to travel as needed (up to 10%)Preferred:
