What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement new processes and procedures for establishing a new global contracting company with an international entityProactively identify potential process breakdowns and develop preventative measures to maintain efficient and accurate financial operationsResearch and resolve issues involving automated postings between multiple company codesCollaborate with senior leadership, internal and external stakeholders to address inquiries or data requestsLevel 1 escalation point of contact for cross functional issues: frequently engaging with Sourcing, IT, Accounting, & Analytics teams on issuesAdapt to evolving requirements in a dynamic, undefined environment.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred4+ years experience in related field preferredAnalytical problem solver with the ability to find root causesStrong understanding of SAP and the financial flow of transactionsExperience with SAP HANA and business objects preferredAbility to be agile, flexible and adapt to changing business needs and prioritiesStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills; ability to communicate effectively with personnel at various levelsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with undefined processes and evolving priorities.Location
Hybrid roleIdeal candidate will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule - coming into the Dublin, OH office 1 day a week and working the other days remoteWhat is expected of you and others at this level
