ADVERTISING/MEDIA CONTENT COOR-RESORT MKT-CRDE (FT/VARIES)
Directly responsible for producing and coordinating all advertising and media content and assisting the Advertising Manager and Media Specialists as needed.   Pearl River Resort Associates are required, on a continual basis to…   Adhere to any and all company and departmental policies, practices and procedures.   Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.          Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.                                                               ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Coordinate with affiliated outside agencies, vendors, consultants, and other tribal organizations to coordinate advertising content and media marketing efforts for the Resort. Assist in providing strategic marketing and business plans for the Resort’s entities with regard to advertising and media requirements. Propose new ideas for all advertising campaigns and social media. Responsible for reviewing and analyzing all media reporting and give suggestions based on the reports. Create content for all media and purchased advertising. Assist with management of special advertising and media projects. Work under established time constraints and deadlines without sacrificing quality. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality. Leads by setting a positive example to all Associates. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   AGE and GAMING: 21 years of age or above Gaming property – Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED is required.   Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations/Communications or a related field is required.  One (1) year experience in advertising content and media is required.  Previous experience with an advertising agency or an equivalent amount of previous on-the-job experience or industrial training may be substituted in lieu of the formal education requirements.   SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.  Must have knowledge of social media platforms, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Works, Excel and Word) and other tools to support the necessary job functions.  Must have expert  knowledge in content creation and communications.   LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.   REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or     diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least thirty (30) pounds, and sit for extended periods in excess of 4 hours.  Bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, kneeling, pulling and pushing may be required throughout the assigned shift.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.   WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.   The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.  When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke.    Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
