Salary Range: $75,900 Annually

 

CommonBond Communities invites qualified applicants to apply for the Advantage Services Regional Manager position at our Central Office in Saint Paul, MN. The region includes sites throughout the Twin Cities Metro area as well as Greater Minnesota. The Advantage Services Regional Manager is responsible for the planning, development and management of quality resident services across several sites. This includes promoting relationships with community and partner organizations, supervision and development of site staff, maintaining program outcomes, and fiscal management. The Advantage Services Regional Manager will collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver seamless services for residents and ensure optimum outcomes for residents.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ASSOCIATED TASKS

SUPERVISE STAFF

Provide leadership for staff and ensure that all services and programs delivered meet the needs for resident stability, advancement and independence. Supervise staff responsible for delivery of Advantage Services programs, which includes Stability & Independence, Health & Wellness, Education & Advancement, and Community Building & Engagement. Evaluate staff performance annually and on an ongoing basis. Provide staff feedback on an ongoing basis. Work with staff to identify and advance professional development goals. Participate in CommonBond supervisor trainings and processes. Identify, hire and supervise appropriate personnel. Hold staff meetings to discuss global issues and problem solve solutions. h. Assure site staff receive updated training regularly to ensure proficiency and skill building. Create a positive presence through personal attributes including: Articulate, optimistic, energetic and respectful; motivates and inspires people and groups at all levels. Invite input from each person and share ownership and visibility; make each individual feel his/her work is important; lead by example.

PROMOTE COMMUNITY BUILDING

Promote resident leadership and community building. Develop collaborative external relationships to support vibrant communities.


PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION

Tailor and implement programs based on evidence based best practices. Continuously improve service delivery using program evaluation and quality assessments. Stay abreast of current resident and community needs, innovative resources, trends and best practices related to services. Collaborate with content managers to ensure programs are implementation as designed, and recommend improvements.

 

PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION

Responsible for program administration related to records maintenance, statistics, and reporting. Develop and monitor partner agreements. Prepare other reports as requested. Prepare and monitor site budgets and grants allocated to sites. Participate in fundraising activities, such as grant reporting, budget oversight, and identification and collection of in-kind resources. Ensure compliance with all CommonBond policies and procedures. Respond to resident and team member complaints and conflicts in a positive and timely manner.


TEAM PARTICIPATION

Build Effective Teams: Blend people into teams; create strong morale and spirit in regional team; share successes and disappointments; foster open dialogue; define success in terms of the whole team. Participate on Advantage Services management team working collaboratively to enhance operations. Work collaboratively with the site Advantage Services and Property Management teams. Actively collaborate with the Advantage Services content managers and Property Management Regional Managers responsible for sites in portfolio. Participate in planning and leading Advantage Services staff meetings and training. Participate in administrative and strategic projects and complete other assignments as requested.

 

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Develop a professional growth plan for continued training. Contribute to professional growth efforts of Advantage Services team.

 

Perform other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Three years’ experience developing, implementing, managing, and evaluating human or social service programs focused on ethnically, socially and/or economically diverse populations. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field or at least four years’ experience in a related field. Ability to collaborate, cultivate and maintain community partnerships. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience working within diverse communities, which include people of various ages, gender, sexual orientations, national origins, income levels, ability levels, religious affiliations, races, and languages. Supervision experience. Demonstrates integrity, strives for excellence in her/his work, and has experience leading others to new levels of effectiveness and programmatic impact. Knowledge of community resources and service networks, or ability to learn quickly. Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment with both internal and external partners. Experience utilizing MS Office and web based programs.

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree or at least five years’ experience in a similar setting and at least one year of supervisory experience. Five years’ experience developing, implementing, managing, and evaluating human or social service programs focused on ethnically, socially and/or economically diverse populations. Community organizing experience. Multilingual. Grant and budget management experience.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to file documents. Ability to enter data into a computer. Ability to interact verbally with internal and external audiences.

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must be willing and able to travel between sites. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as scheduled. Must be willing to carry a cell phone. Be certified in CPR and First Aid or have the ability to become certified within six months of starting position. rec:max
