Job Description

The main role of an Advanced Supplier Quality (ASQ) Engineer is to ensure the execution of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and its completion in due time, following up the performance of the supplier and being accountable of the supplier’s PPAP (PSW).  The main missions of the role are:

Review BOP (Bought-Out Parts) specs with Engineering before providing them to the suppliers before their nominationEnsure that supplier commits the feasibility of the product acc to the specs before the nominationParticipate in Supplier Nomination Committee, providing also Quality inputs and Risk Assessments to nominate the supplierAssess suppliers in collaboration with the SQD in order to complete the global panel evaluation.Deploy and monitor all the APQP points for the of the Bought-Out Parts, starting in acquisition phase, until program is transferred to serial lifeManage and ensure APQP items dates and their approvals, in collaboration with the program team when needAccountability of Supplier Run at Rates to ensure enough supplier capacity with saleable partsManage action plans with suppliers in case of product deviations to have the product and process acc to the program needsGive recommendations and/or technical decisions to ensure a defect-free process through program managementManage progress plan with low-performance suppliers in collaboration with the SQDSupport the suppliers to make sure that the program needs are properly applied.

QualificationsTechnical Bachelor DegreePrevious experience in supplier quality field in automotive industryExperience in working with APQP & PPAP validation process systemsExcellent communication skills in EnglishResults orientedKnowledge of Project Management methodologySupplier audit process knowledge
