As a Frequency Converter Software Test Engineer, you will be fully responsible for the execution and maintenance of software testing for frequency converter products, ensuring product quality and performance meet standards. You will enhance testing efficiency and data management capabilities through the development of automated testing platforms and test management software.
What You’ll Be Doing• Responsible for the software testing work of projects/products, analyzing product requirements and customer applications, establishing testing environments and plans, designing and executing test cases, and submitting test reports to ensure smooth testing processes.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TestStand, LabVIEW, and Robot Framework to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct automated testing using NI equipment and real motors to ensure product performance and reliability in practical applications.
• Implement Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing to simulate real environments for verifying frequency converter performance.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate with the development team to resolve issues.
• Participate in regression testing to ensure new features and fixes do not affect the existing system.
• Develop and maintain test management software to optimize testing processes and data management, supporting automation of the testing environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Experience: At least 3 years of work experience in software testing for power electronic products or related fields, with preference given to those with experience in frequency converter testing.
• Professional Knowledge:
o Understand basic testing concepts and be familiar with test case design methods.
o Experience in Python programming for automated test development.
o Familiarity with automated testing tools, such as TestStand or Robot Framework.
o Proficiency in DevOps practices and Git version control.
o Knowledge of database management and operations, able to use SQL for data queries and analysis.
o English communication and writing skills, capable of understanding English technical documents and effectively communicating with colleagues abroad.
Preferred Conditions:
• Experience in testing electrical equipment, especially related to frequency converters.
• Understanding of Fieldbus communication protocols and their applications.
• Experience related to Functional Safety.
