Currently we have an opening for an engineer position to work within the Space team in Honeywell Czech Republic. The area of research and development is the design of advanced electronics Space Systems including complex control SW. In the role, the engineer will be asked to get acquainted with the system device principle, design SW architecture based on the mission requirements and lead the implementation activities. In addition, the engineer is expected to participate in the development of new concepts and technologies for future space products. This will include understanding the customer requirements, translating those into device and product requirements, performing trade studies, writing research and development proposals and potentially project and team management. Currently there are several projects targeting space and aerospace under execution. The main customers are commercial space customers, Honeywell International s.r.o. and European Space Agency.This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home. UML modelling, API definition. + Support of the CI/ CD automation processes + Cooperation with V&V teams, support of V&V campaigns + Agile management of sprints, epics, stories and tasks. Code review. Documentation creation.
