We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Advanced Rubber Engrwith over 5 years of expertise in Rubber Technology to join our dynamic team. The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Rubber Technology or a related field and demonstrate a strong background in the development, testing, and optimization of rubber materials.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Development:
- Lead the design and development of rubber compounds and materials specifically tailored for electrical safety applications.
- Collaborate with product teams to design innovative electrical safety solutions that meet performance standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new formulations and assess their applicability in electrical safety products.
2. Material Engineering:
- Evaluate and characterize the performance of rubber materials against electrical safety standards and certifications.
- Investigate and resolve performance issues related to physical, chemical, and electrical properties of rubber materials.
- Optimize rubber formulations for key attributes such as insulation, heat resistance, and durability.
3. Testing & Compliance:
- Develop and implement rigorous testing protocols to ensure rubber materials meet industry standards (e.g., UL, IEC) for safety and performance.
- Coordinate with testing laboratories to validate rubber properties and compliance with safety regulations.
- Document testing results and provide analytical reports for regulatory submissions and certifications.
4. Manufacturing Support:
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to streamline production processes, ensuring that rubber products are produced with high quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to rubber processing, quality assurance, and product performance.
- Provide technical guidance in rubber processing techniques suitable for electrical safety applications.
5. Technical Leadership:
- Serve as a technical expert on rubber materials for electrical safety applications, providing consultancy to cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior technologists and engineers, promoting knowledge transfer and skill development within the team.
- Organize and lead training sessions on rubber technology and electrical safety standards.
6. Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to production, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate communication between teams, customers, and suppliers to enhance collaboration on technical projects.
- Master’s degree in Rubber Technology, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in rubber technology, with a focus on electrical safety or related applications.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, testing protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in materials characterization techniques and laboratory testing for rubber materials.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the manufacturing of electrical safety devices and products, particularly in using rubber as an insulating or protective material.
- Familiarity with advanced rubber processing methods, such as molding, extrusion, or bonding technologies.
