Advanced Rigger: $48.95 (including 25% casual loading) + OT Penalties (from base rate) + Project UpliftIntermediate Rigger: $46.88 (including 25% casual loading) + OT Penalties (from base rate) + Project UpliftOther Benefits: Join a supportive team delivering Downers major Bayswater outage. LAFHA or Accommodation + Meal Allowance provided to distant workers

 

The Opportunity

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for casual Advanced and Intermediate Riggers to deliver outage services for the Bayswater Power Station in Muswellbrook, NSW. Commencing Early September 2025, Downer will be providing mechanical and project services throughout the outage supporting with pressure piping replacements; ducting patch repair works and damper installations. 

 

About You 

Site Proficient: Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sectorTeam Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skillsWorkplace Safety: Committed to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleaguesQualifications:  Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 3 years) Construction white card, Rights to work in Australia, High-risk work licence
