Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Louisville. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans to promote understanding and compliance. Utilize evidence-based practice to improve patient care outcomes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

 

Full time APRN Mon-Fri Outpatient Office, Dialysis and Inpatient rounding  1 weekend every 4 weeks inpatient rounding (1 free day during the week after weekend) 1-2 holidays per year (bonus pay and extra holiday provided) 1 year experience as APRN ICU/Critical care experience as an RN 3 weeks PTO 5 days CME  ($1250 CME allowance annually)
