Job Title: Physician Assistant – Cardiac Non-Invasive / EKGLocation: Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, MD
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Sinai Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Cardiac Non-Invasive/EKG team. The PA will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a weekday role with no weekends or on-call requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesCompetently and safely perform a wide range of technical and clinical functions related to cardiac patient care.
Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical exams.
Assess and initiate treatment plans in conjunction with attending physicians, including consultations from the ED and other departments.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work.
Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Maryland state regulations and under physician supervision.
Perform minor procedures such as wound care, injections, IV starts, dressing changes, and application of splints or casts.
Assist in surgical procedures when necessary.
Provide patient education regarding medications, mobility aids (e.g., crutches), and discharge instructions.
Identify and interpret normal and abnormal lab and radiology findings.
Perform life-saving emergency procedures as needed (CPR, intubation, tracheotomy, etc.).
Maintain effective communication with the healthcare team and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and collaboration.
Participate in department Grand Rounds, weekly X-ray review sessions, and continuing medical education (CME).
Support hospital and departmental infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
RequirementsMaryland Physician Assistant license or Maryland Acute Care Nurse Practitioner license (required)
AHA BLS Provider certification (required)
Previous cardiology or hospital-based experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development and certification maintenance
