Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Advanced Modeling and Simulations Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to plan, design, test, and execute modeling and simulations in support of Geographic Combatant Command Wargames and Exercises.
What You'll Be Doing:
Support the Missile Defense Agency’s Directorate for Wargames and Exercises
Conduct planning, execution, design, and implementation of modeling and simulations for warfighter wargames and exercises
Support Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) coordination and execution events around the globe
Conduct MDA element/stakeholder coordination
Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT)
Coordinate diverse network and architecture configurations
Executive level briefs
Risk assessment/mitigation
Event documentation
Pre and post testing activities
Lessons learned compilation
Provide intermediate and basic level co-workers with daily performance requirements and provide training and mentorship to ensure growth and advancement of the workforce
Travel may be required
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
MS in an engineering field or STEM related field with 10 years of experience. (A BS in an engineering field with 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the MS degree requirement.)Experience with MDA wargames and exercises support processesFamiliarity with the DoD Joint Event Life Cycle processAbility to quantify and conduct logical reasoning and techniques; products and associated processes are of a technical nature *(key requirement)Microsoft Office suite of software and applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Secret ClearanceActive U.S. Passport
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Previous military experience in a joint operational environment and/or Service Component Command and Staff Course graduate
Must be a self-starter, able to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
CompTIA Security+ Certification
