Responsibilities Attend and complete all required courses administered by Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) for the duration of the 2-year, Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) programAttend all classes, events, meetings, and/or conferences required by the Kansas City Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) chapterMaintain acceptable academic performance as determined by the program instructorDemonstrate a strong commitment to safety, following all guidelines and proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaApproach assigned tasks with positive intent, eagerness to learn, and openness to failureExhibit teamwork, collaboration, and camaraderieSatisfactorily complete all required plant and departmental training, development, and assessments Alongside Amcor trainer, assist in troubleshooting industrial equipment to resolve functionality or performance issuesAlongside Amcor trainer, inspect and assist with repair to pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systemsAlongside Amcor trainer, research and assist with resolution of technical issuesUse manuals to locate parts required for repairs and projectsCommunicate all relevant information and activity statuses with leadership and colleagues Qualifications At least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or GED equivalentActively enrolled in the Kansas City chapter of FAME through KCKCC - REQUIREDCommitment to safety and continuous improvementDigital literacy and basic computer skillsEnglish fluency and basic math skillsExcellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven dependability, reliability, and ability to multi-taskProven ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team Additional Info
