The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for implementing tailored process development activities for mid-complexity projects, integrating design for lean manufacturing into product development lifecycle management, executing complex processes and adhering to safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements, working under limited supervision.
Your role:
Ensures the implementation of process development activities specifically tailored for mid-complexity projects to streamline procedures, enhance efficiencies, and ensure optimal outcomes within the defined project scope.
Introduces Design for Lean Manufacturing (DFLM) methodologies into Product Development Lifecycle Management (PDLM) processes, ensuring thorough integration of designs, particularly focusing on mid-complexity projects, to enhance efficiency and streamline production workflows.
Aligns process and equipment capabilities with specified criteria, incorporating process requirements from product specifications provided by I&D and manufacturing requirements to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
Leads timely release of Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM) and routes Master data, facilitating seamless integration of product specifications and ensuring efficient execution of manufacturing processes.
Oversees the implementation of complex processes and standards and ensures strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements, alongside local laws, company general business principles, and other relevant policies.

You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience with Bachelor's in areas such as Manufacturing/Operations environment, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Production Engineering, or Cost Engineering or equivalent OR no prior experience required with Master's Degree
Your skills include demonstrated ability to lead equipment and process qualification activities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills using structured methodologies, and preferred experience with CAD/CAM tools, working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, with GD&T, build to print concepts, and exposure to regulated industry
You have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sciences, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent. Lean Six Sigma or equivalent preferred.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in MN is $70,875 to 113,400
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
