Purpose of Role:
The Advanced IIoT Engineer position is a challenging and exciting opportunity to work with the latest IIoT technology to develop the implementation and integration of the Weir NEXT IIoT solution.
As an experienced professional, you will use your expertise to be the owner and approver in the development of IIoT systems. The role requires providing both remote and on-site field support for the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the NEXT IIoT solutions.
Additionally, you will be responsible for interacting and integrating with internal teams, customers and contractors the new IIoT solutions and their connectivity.
The ideal candidate will have experience in providing exceptional technical support L3 and share his knowledge and experience with the team.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Degree / master’s in, Electrical, E & C, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering or similar with 10 or more years of experience
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with OT to IT integration to Manage IIoT Integration with customer DCS. High experience in connectivity and integrating it from the Edge(Gateway)/DCS to the cloud.Practical knowledge of Mining mechanical equipment, which includes hydraulic, pneumatic and electronics engineering design and failure analysis.Sound knowledge and experience in configuration of systems (embedded + wireless + networking + SCADA + IIoT)Direct work and experience with Studio 5000, TIA Portal and TwinCAT, testing and commissioning industrial control systems. Experience with Node-Red and Phyton will be a plus.Must have knowledge of communication protocols like RS 232, TCP/IP, Modbus TCP, Profibus DP, Ethernet IP, OPC UA, MQTT(SpvB), etc.Knowledge of electrical & instrumentation devices, should have broad experience in measuring devices and knowledge of sensors both analogue and digital.Network configuration, diagnostics and troubleshooting such as setting up IP addresses, network segmentation and segregation; determining network performance and diagnosing communication issues in both wired and wireless.Knowledge of Industrial Cybersecurity frameworks, like IEC 62.443, NIST 800-82 or NERC-CIP.Knowledge of data architecture, data modelling, data mapping, data analysis, and data visualization.Working knowledge XMPro, Aveva PI, SAP Analytics, and Ticketing systems is a plus.Experience in developing and managing dashboards and reports in any IIoT popular platforms.Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Industrial IoT, condition monitoring and process automation.Understanding of Digital IT/OT system processes, technology, infrastructure, and specification.Site installation experience and their requirements.Core Competencies
