As an **Advanced Field Service Engineer** , you will serve as a senior technical expert and escalation point for complex issues related to Honeywell’s access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems across Europe. You will lead advanced troubleshooting, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with R&D, product management, and training teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement of support processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Act as the **technical lead** for escalated field service cases, providing in-depth diagnostics and resolution for complex hardware and software issues.
+ Conduct **on-site interventions** for critical systems, including commissioning, upgrades, and root cause analysis.
+ Design and deliver **advanced technical training** for internal teams, partners, and end-users.
+ Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to provide feedback on product performance, feature requests, and recurring issues.
+ Lead **technical audits** and system health checks for key customers.
+ Develop and maintain **advanced documentation** , including troubleshooting guides, configuration best practices, and knowledge base articles.
+ Support the rollout of **new technologies and solutions** , ensuring smooth adoption and integration.
+ Drive **continuous improvement** initiatives in service delivery, including automation, remote diagnostics, and predictive maintenance.
**Qualifications / Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
+ Minimum **5+ years of experience** in field service, technical support, or systems engineering, preferably in the electronic security industry.
+ Fluent in **English and German** , additional European languages are a plus.
+ Deep understanding of **IP networking** , **Windows Server environments** , **SQL Server** , and **cybersecurity principles** .
+ Proven experience with **Honeywell security platforms** such as MBSecure, IQMA, WinMag or similar.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage high-pressure situations and customer expectations.
