Advanced Field Service Engineer

As an Advanced Field Service Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be joining our Lifecycle Solutions\n& Services (LSS) business. This role focuses on the maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex/advanced Honeywell control systems (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC300). Your time will be spent validating customer requests, developing/maintaining/improving customer relationships, upgrades/migration planning and execution, all while ensuring Right and Fast Delivery.

Key Responsibilities

\n\nPeriodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative issues\nProvide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as a customer contact for service-related issues/enquiries\nConfigure, maintain and solve Honeywell hardware and software issues including: Experion PKS, other DCS hardware / software such as LCN, TPS\nUpgrade Experion software from one software release to another software release on live control system without causing any interruption to customer’s industrial process\nMigrate Legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywell’s new technology offering\nUnderstand customer key processes and economic drivers and translate those into business opportunities, providing timely research and recommendations\nAssist Sales during sales pursuits and be the face of Honeywell to end-users, and competitors\nLearn the end-to-end product/solution development and delivery/execution of Honeywell products and solutions\nUse technical expertise of sophisticated Honeywell solutions/product offerings to improve customer experience \nLead and assist in training less experienced field service engineers\n\n

Relocation assistance may be eligible for this role.

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n5 + years of hands on experience working with control methodology in Distributed Control System (DCS) PLC and HMI platforms\n5 + years of field engineering experience\nKnowledge of network architecture and control communication protocols\nValid driver's license\nWillingness and able to travel 50% of time\n\n

\n\nBachelor's degree in a Technical/Engineering field\nStrong electronics background: ability to work with electronic test equipment\nActively partakes in peer team meetings as a lead to further strengthen engineer teams.\nStrong understanding and experience with various programming languages\nExperience with Experion PKS Hardware & Software, in addition to Hiway, TDC, & TPS system experience including LCN, UCN, and Hiway equipment along with PC/Networking experience\n3rd Party controls experience\nProject Management experience (budget control, schedules, resource allocation, reporting)\n\n
