As an Advanced Engineering Support Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing advanced engineering support for various projects and initiatives. You will lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring the successful execution of engineering support activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering support requirements are met. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our engineering support operations. You will be responsible for managing a team of support specialists, providing guidance and support to resolve complex customer issues, and driving improvements in our support processes. Key Responsibilities + Engineer high level designs using the best of breed technology to support Honeywell systems, including Virtualisation Architecture, Storage Architecture and Network Architecture. + Have a good understanding of networks, network principles and IT industry processes and procedures including configuration management and change management. + Protect the integrity of the Honeywell implemented software, server and network infrastructure and services. + understanding of architecting and maintaining VLANs, SANs, WANs and LANs. + Provide structured cabling Backbone design suitable for Data Center Network Architectures, in building and Campus. + handling Mega and GIGA projects budgeting and technical analysis. + judge and recommend pros and cons and cost effectiveness of the solution provided. + Interact with other departments such as sales, presales, and procurement to provide a full and complete solution using other Honeywell products. YOU MUST HAVE + 8 - 10 Years Experience in presales or solution consulting roles + Technical Diploma and/or Tertiary Education / bachelor’s degree in information technology/systems or computer science (Essential). • Certification and/or Training in relevant ICT industry technologies such as CCNA (Cisco), MCSA (Microsoft), Aruba, VCP-DCV, vSAN (VMware), EMC VNX, ITP, Microsoft AD / SQL + Bachelor’s degree in information technology/ computer engineering OR Equivalent + Technical level certifications from leading networking vendors minimum CCNP Level core, switching & routing, data Center, and cyber security or equivalent in different technology domains, CCIE are strongly recommended + Technical experiences in networking IOT and IT, with hands-on experiences on switching, routing, wireless calculations, heat mapping, and collaboration solutions. + Technical experience in cyber security scopes, and datacentre security solutions such as firewalls, proxies, VPN, SIEM, and others. + Technical experience is virtualization and storage calculations for IT and IOT environment + Strong influencing leadership, presentation, and technical write-up skills with strong oral and written communication skills. + Experience in generating RFP, RFI, RFQs as well as responding to them. + Ability to generate BOQ, HLD, LLD and other technical documents for proposals and project life cycle. + Well versed with different vendor equipment and technologies especially in cisco, Aruba, extreme, Nokia, and ruckus, PaloAlto, Fortinet, Dell, and HP. + Capability to understand and analyse complex requirements. + In-depth understanding of Enterprise Networking products, solutions, and strategy. + Strong understanding of Enterprise Networking market trends and challenges. + Possesses deep understanding of complex technical sales engagements and takes actions accordingly to ensure project success.
