**Advanced Data Analyst**
The **Advanced Data Analyst** is part of the **Solstice Advanced Materials** Commercial Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) in Bucharest, reports to the Sr Sales Analytics Manager and has no direct reports.
This role will work with leaders across Solstice sales enablement, marketing, and offering management. They will be responsible for implementing analytics projects (data collection, processing, modeling, and visualization), conducting ad-hoc business analysis to support key initiatives, and maintaining the sales orders database (data reconciliation, query resolution and fixing data issues).
The successful candidate will demonstrate good understanding of data structures, good analytical and visualization skills, industry, and business knowledge. They will have exposure to business leaders and must exemplify good communication skills along with attention to detail in execution.
Responsibilities
+ Collect business requirements from Solstice sales, marketing, and offering management
+ Build, develop and maintain data connections to various platforms (Salesforce, SAP, SharePoint, Excel, etc.), data libraries and transformation dataflows/recipes (Power Query, Alteryx, etc.), actionable data visualization dashboards and templates (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
+ Design and build technical processes and data automation systems to address business issues and increase efficiency (SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.)
+ Create strong partnership with data owners in all relevant Solstice functions (Customer Experience, Finance, HR, IT, etc.)
+ Execute a standard analytics MOS to include work, meeting, communication, and deliverable cadence
Education/Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Data Science, Engineering, Finance, or other relevant fields
Experience
+ 3 or more years working with data structures, data modelling, or data architecture, Power Query or Alteryx preferred
+ 2 or more years of hands-on experience producing reports and dashboards, Power BI or Tableau preferred
Professional skills and knowledge
+ Basic SQL skills for querying and manipulating data across various sources.
+ Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and validation techniques.
+ Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data solutions.
Other skills and knowledge
+ Fluent in written and spoken English
+ Excellent problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities
+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment and leverage cross-functional resources
