The Advanced College Training & Off-Center Programs Coordinator is responsible for the management and supervision of the Advanced College Training program and all Off-Center Training initiatives. This position determines student enrollment based on Department of Labor (DOL) policy, applicant eligibility, and professional judgment. The Coordinator provides academic counseling, monitors student progress, and ensures program advancement. Serving as the primary liaison between the Center and local colleges/universities, the role requires building and maintaining strong partnerships while safeguarding the confidentiality and integrity of student information. Key Responsibilities + Manage and oversee the Advanced College Training program and all Off-Center Training programs. + Make enrollment decisions in alignment with DOL policy and individual assessment of applicant suitability and eligibility. + Provide students with counseling and guidance regarding higher education and Off-Center Training opportunities. + Monitor and track student progress to ensure satisfactory advancement in assigned programs. + Serve as the primary liaison between the Center and local colleges, universities, and training providers. + Develop and maintain productive partnerships with post-secondary institutions to enhance program offerings. + Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive information and the integrity of all student data. + Prepare accurate reports and maintain records in compliance with DOL and organizational requirements. + Collaborate with Career Technical Training, Career Transition, and other departments to support student success. + Perform additional duties as assigned by the Center Director or designee. Qualifications Key Responsibilities + Uphold all integrity guidelines and ensure accurate, ethical handling of student data. + Maintain full enrollment in the Advanced College Training (ACT) and all Off-Center Training (OCT) programs. + Monitor and document student attendance for all off-center classes on a daily basis. + Coordinate and complete all required student transportation and meal requests/documentation. + Provide comprehensive, individualized case management to support student progress, retention, and successful completion of ACT/OCT programs. + Establish supportive and mentoring relationships with students, offering personal and career counseling throughout their enrollment. + Actively promote and recruit students for advanced training programs offered at Job Corps Centers, ensuring alignment with Career Technical Training (CTT) pathways. + Develop and maintain productive relationships with community organizations, businesses, and partner Job Corps Centers to enhance student opportunities. + Produce thorough, timely, and accurate work while maintaining strong attendance, accountability, and productivity standards. + Organize, plan, and prioritize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines. + Maintain job-related skills and knowledge to effectively meet program needs. + Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH. + Provide case management and career counseling services for all non-residential students. + Supervise and manage the student population, taking prompt and appropriate action to influence positive behavior, ensure accountability, and maintain a respectful environment. + Lead marketing and recruitment efforts for advanced training programs, including outreach to other Job Corps Centers and conducting presentations for students and employers. + Ensure quality programs and services are delivered, continuously seeking improvement and innovation to meet student needs. + Communicate ideas clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing, contributing meaningfully to team efforts. + Provide timely, accurate information and reports to the DOL/Company when requested. + Identify problems, analyze causes, and implement effective solutions; follow up to ensure successful resolution. + Collaborate with all departments to provide coordinated services and supervision for students. + Accept assignments from the Center Director, Center Duty Officer, or Shift Manager, including temporary responsibilities in other departments as needed. + Perform other related duties as assigned.
