Join our team and start your journey today! **Position Title:** **Lead/Advanced EMS/BMS Programmer** **Organizational Unit:** **Cold Chain Services** **Position Summary:** This position will be responsible for the supervisory programming / configuration and development of sequence of operations (SOO), of products offered by Copeland. The position requires extensive experience with refrigeration, HVAC and building systems, as well as various EMS platforms. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Program standard and advanced Energy Management Systems for various types of projects, including but not limited to: + Supermarket HFC & CO2 refrigeration systems + Box Retail + C-Store + Distribution centers + Be able to develop SOO for each standard file and manage a library + Work with the End User and OEM to develop standard setpoint files and SOO + Collaborate with Integration team to complete programming sequence for 3rd Party integrations. + Work with Engineering and Applications Engineering to provide advanced solutions and SOO for advanced control systems solutions + Validate existing advance EMS programs in accordance with projects specifications; these specifications include EMS drawings, Sequence of Operations, Schedules, etc. + Maintain proficiency in all products and services that Copeland offers; this includes programming and equipment protocol + Developing advanced building and refrigeration control system programming and documentation for programming requests assigned to the department. + Develop and execute programming / configuration training programs + Train others on how to build programs, and work with a remote team of programmers to scale up programming tasks and processes + Perform related duties and administrative work as assigned by the Manager **Skills and Educational Requirements:** + Associate’s (AA) degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school along with five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience + Understanding building automation systems with advanced programming experience + Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Windows, Excel, Power Point + Minimum of three years of experience in Energy Management Systems + 5+ years’ experience with installation, programming, troubleshooting complex control systems + Experience with electrical and building drawings a plus **Working Conditions:** + This is a Full-Time position, remote work allowed + Limited overnight travel may be required + Reports to the Professional Services Manager **Our Commitment to Our People** Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
