This position is located in the Behavioral Health Department of the Red Lake Hospital, a general medical hospital that serves the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians and AI/AN beneficiaries. The incumbent serves as a Nurse Practitioner providing psychiatric/medical management for ambulatory patients, emergency cases, individuals, and families. Performs initial psychiatric comprehensive evaluations on new patients, collecting information of the chief complaint. Develops treatment plans incorporating the appropriate level of expertise regarding psychiatric evaluation and treatment. Manages ongoing treatment of follow-up patients.
