Job Summary:Join our team as an Admissions Specialist and play a pivotal role in managing the admissions process, maintaining program census, and facilitating effective communication between clients, referral sources, and our clinical team. As an Admissions Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for many of our clients and referral sources, and you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on their experience with our organization. As an Admissions Specialist, you will be responsible for responding to new referrals, maintaining waiting lists, completing admissions documentation, and coordinating with our billing department. You will work closely with our clinical team to ensure that clients receive the care and support they need to achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities:· Respond promptly to new referrals, documenting thoroughly and maintaining accurate waiting lists
· Foster positive relationships with referral sources, clients, and colleagues, creating a welcoming environment
· Ensure program census aligns with service models across various treatment settings
· Facilitate admissions screenings via phone or in-person, completing comprehensive admissions documentation in electronic medical records
· Coordinate insurance information and billing processes, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:· High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma

Additional Qualifications:· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to establish rapport and create a welcoming atmosphere
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines
· Basic computer skills in Word & Excel
· Knowledge of confidentiality laws related to treating mental health and substance use disorders
· Extensive knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations relevant to the program
· Attentive to detail
